Reduccion of Pima rebels led by Vicpici in Altar area. Guatonori, Cuera still at large. Concerns attempts to reduce Seris, Sibubapas. Extolls Crisanto's good faith and notes his promise to lead Spaniards against rebels in Cerro Prieto. Hostilities halted because of pardon granted to Sibubapas. Notes alboroto del Rio fuerte, which apparently had run its course before Elizondo's troops got there. Pima attempts to sabatoge Spanish-Seri peace. Marcos told by Pimas that Spanish pardon a trick to get all 3 rebel nations together, hang leaders and deport the rest by sea. Seris suspend surrender, but still carry out no hostilities. Crisanto and followers offer to serve as guides against other rebels. (T. Sheridan) (1980)

Seris called menos Mala, y la que Mas ha sido castigada of all rebels. 114 Seris killed, captured since June of 1768. Many Seris asking for peace. Notes surrender, pardon of capitan Crisanto. Crisanto states many Seris wish to make peace but are so dispersed it is difficult to get them together. Seris tired of life of constant danger, afraid of Spanish troops since attack on Palma canyon. Marcos described as el principal leader of Seris. Elizondo argues that although it would be best to exterminate rebels, their tactic of dispersing into small groups make such a task virtually impossible. States if Seris had been treated justly in first place, they may not have rebelled. Claims they were enslaved by los expulsos (Jesuits) and had most reason of all rebels to rebel. Notes that since Seris first to rebel, they're blamed for hostilities committed by other rebels. States Seris menos ynumana, y la que menos y mbasions ha hecho en la Provincia de ostimury. Major campaign in Cerro Prieto. Pineda too fat to keep up. Involves troops from both Quarteles (Guaymas, Pitic). Some troops occupy mountain heights while others move up canyons. Led by Indian prisoner who knew area. Rebels burned off pasturage at entrance to canyons. Indians at one Rancheria flee. Cerro Prieto described as un laverinto de Cerros, barrancos y despenaderos. Despite failure to engage rebels, Elizondo feels expedition having effect, both Anza, Allande report crosses of peace left by rebels. Seri capitan Crisanto ready to surrender. (T. Sheridan) (1980)

Receipts for purchase of clothing for Apaches, for transport of livestock. Letter from Garrido y Duran ordering payment of four pesos daily to Sister of captive Gonzales. Bill for purchase of blankets, cloth, grain, agave thread, silk, ear corn, buttons, hats from Perez in April, to fulfill Corbalan's order to clothe Apaches. Account of livestock purchased. Letters concerning and account of clothing purchased from Martin for Apaches; lists some items for specific individuals. Monthly account of money, extra rations given to Apaches.
