Short letter from viceroy to Crespo ordering intendente Corbalan to supervise reconstruction of church at Suaqui. Also requests that Indians at Pueblo be supplied with seeds and tools in order that they may work fields. (J. H. Ochs . September 1987)

Cabildo of Santa Fe petitions governor to issue agricultural tools, cloth, thread, horses, gunpowder, munitions and arms to inhabitants of Villa as help is needed to defend it, there is hunger and people are almost naked. Cabildo attaches copies of original documents to back up petition dating from 1699 when king issued a cedula for more families and added monetary help to inhabitants of province; documents show viceroy complied but governors did not. Documents also show that soldiers from Sonora and Sinaloa should be transferred temporarily to New Mexico. (A. Dell'acqua, June 1987)

Viceroy appoints new governor due to demise of Lujan Ponce de Leon in office. He requests return to new governor of all war materiel, papers and properties belonging to province's government.
