January 9, 2011 Arizona Daily Star obituary: Loving mother, grandmother and friend, passed away January 3, 2011 at her home of 50 years in Tucson. Anne was born October 21, 1925 in Floral Park, NY to Charles B. and Katherine M. Norton. Anne married Donald S. Bethune, M.D. in 1945. They moved from Larchmont, NY to Tucson in 1960 with their four children. After Dr. Bethune's death in 1963, Anne completed her nursing degree at the U of A and worked as a nurse at Palo Verde Hospital. She married Emil J. Hattoon in 1972. They were happily married until Emil's death in 1997.
