Ff.204-208 discuss possibility of building wooden obstruction to divert Teocelo River in two paths across Barrancas (for irrigation, communication); mentions building short road between Teocelo, San Bartolome. Ff.209-211 are vague letters concerning pulque procured for public works, costs thereof. Ff. 212-213 mention cleaning drains at Aragon. F.214 mentions tax on powder. Ff. 216-221 list detailed reasons for reducing federal funds to municipal works of Alameda, Quaximalpa (inaction of civil servants, nothing getting done).

Letters to viceroy concerning public works. Ff.176-181 concern need to build new Calzada nearer to point of Tolotlan to replace old one that was impassable for carriages. Ff.182-185 concern need for repair considerable deterioration on Punto de Animas. Ff. 186-188 concern need for restoration on archbishop's Palace in Tacubaya, specifically water supply (some question of purity). F.189 concerns scarcity of water in Huamantla. Ff. 190-194 concern toll on vehicles traveling through Cuebas (list of costs for various types of carriages) to fund work on road. Ff.195-203 concern annual cleaning of aqueduct at Chalco; capital invested by various duenos to fund public works, interest rates. (A. Dean, September 1989)

F.134 concerns levying 5-peso yearly tax on carriage owners to cover cost of grading roads. Response that such tax wouldn't raise enough, should resort to measures such as zevada. ff.136-139 concerns failure of water supply to convent Balvanera (1800). Ff.140-155 concern Vega's objection to grading done on streets around his property. (it seems he contracted work, but wasn't pleased with result; refuses to pay.) Scrambled, unrelated documents concerning construction, destruction of public works. Mentions flooding of Cuebas road, Tlahuac, other places. Ff.60-71 concern citizens of Tamiagua trying to raise enough money to get jail built (1796). F.74 describes miserable state of Indians in Tlaxcala, starving, unable to save crops from continual flooding of Zahuapan River. F.77 Lira suggests reducing Indians to get them out of Tlaxcala, as he found them insufferable to begin with (1795). (A. Dean, September 1989)

Water pipes in Sultepec in poor state due to neglect by Lopez (who seems to have embezzled funds for maintenance). Mentions lack of water to Balbanera convent, various sites; discusses repair, responsibility. (A. Dean, September 1989)

Correspondence deals with improvements to streets to reduce noise and improve traffic flow, bridge repair with detailed measurements and contributions toward these. Discussion of drainage problems, including closing acequia with cost of such provided by Ortiz. (J. M. Johnson, January 1989)

Folios 243, 249, 257 written by nuns (abadesas) recounting rise of water level, smell and possible disease to convent. Also, inability to pay contribution due to lack of income by convent. Other documents discuss financial matters of payments by finqueros, and specify areas and houses responsible to contribute.
