Summary
Letters concerning two houses owned by the contaduria. They are houses # 11 and 12 located on Calle vergana. The houses suffered damage during a Series of minor earthquakes on November 23, 1836. Entire block of houses also owned by contaduria. Buildings were also used as offices. House 11 rented for 36 pesos per month. After quakes, discussion of costs of repair vs. Condemnation. Indians being baptized, taxes, agriculture, Diezmos y primicias etc. Budget for new construction is 44,000 pesos. Notice that Indians are constructing a new church given.
