These informes are short notes bearing fr. Marianos name with dates of the years 1791 and 1792 with two informal letters which have fr. Marianos autograph. This is also appended (incomplete)- resolucion a Una consulta sobre el bautismo. The letters (incomplete) were written from the mission de Espiritu Santo, dated October 26, 1791, November 4, 1793. This history of the missions of Sonora of the Franciscans was written by fr. Barbastro when he was the Head of the Custodia. As he himself states, the sources are the original documents found in the archives of the missions. Written at mission Purissima de Babiacora. This informe of fr. Bertran was sent to the guardian of the colegio de Santa Cruz and the discreets. It treats of the abuses then prevailing in the missions of Sonora, making serious accusations regarding the use of money by the missionaries, and other abuses. It bears no date but speaks of fr. Barbastro as the vice custodio and therefore was written after 1783, when these missions were made part of the custody of San Carlos. This is an original document with the autograph of fr. Bertran. This informe was written to the king from the college of San Fernando opposing the recommendation of Don Philipe Neve, the governor, who proposes for economic reasons one missionary be placed in each mission. The document is signed by fr. Francisco Pangua, the guardian and his discretorium and is countersigned by fr. Diego Ximenez, testifying that it is an exact copy of the original. This is the complete testimony made by Don Pedro Fages and sent to comander de Croix, of the Indian uprising along the Colorado River which resulted in the deaths of the two missionaries, fr. Juan Diaz and fr. Joseph Mathias Moreno. Although not the original, it is a faithful copy signed by Pedro Fages himself at Monte rey. (microfilm catalog)

This long informe gives a complete account of the mission de Nuestra Senora del Pilar. It was sent by fr. Juan de Dios de Larrondo to fr. Antonio de Vebina, and speaks of the govierno politico and espiritual de los indios including the gastos and the limosna a los pobres, etc. This is an original document with the autograph of fr.
