These informes are short notes bearing fr. Marianos name with dates of the years 1791 and 1792 with two informal letters which have fr. Marianos autograph. This is also appended (incomplete)- resolucion a Una consulta sobre el bautismo. The letters (incomplete) were written from the mission de Espiritu Santo, dated October 26, 1791, November 4, 1793. Summary
This is the certificate of baptism and confirmation of fr. Francisco Garces as attested to by fr. Pedro Alaman, the guardian of the convent of San Lorenzo de la Almunia. He testifies that he examined the books of baptism and confirmation, and found that fr. Francisco Garces was baptised April 13, 1738, and was confirmed October 2, 1739. This is an original document bearing the seal of the convent of San Lorenzo de la Almunia where it was written, and the autograph of fr. Pedro Alaman. (microfilm catalog)

The only account pertinent to the geographic area of DRSW is entitled mission and journey to the Tepehuanes. it includes a wealth of ethnographic data- clothing, food, architecture, marriage customs (pre-hispanic), religious beliefs, agriculture, and inter-tribal relations. Also information on a monolithic idol (vuamari, a pillar topped with a likeness of a human Head.) Gives number of baptisms for 1607. Discusses severe epidemic. (R. Perez) (1977)

Accounts of Spanish executions of murderers. Also, unsuccessful efforts to reduce Salineros.
