An order concerning Indian pueblos covering the following topics- pueblos in existence more than 10 years must give up the ancient practice (doesn't apply to those Younger than 10 years); that Indians in these pueblos have the same rights as Espanoles; that professional gamblers and venders of liquor are Barred from Indian pueblos; access to adjoining lands is protected; and that all citizens (except the officials) are obligated to work this land. Concha writes Amezquete that harina is selling for 12 pesos, Reales, and maiz at 6 pesos. He says salt has arrived but doesn't know if it will be bartered. He says maiz is scarce but wheat plentiful, hence maiz may rise to 8 or 9 pesos. Padre Villanueva was supposed to send Pescado, Camaron, and Quesos, but only sent two cheeses. (P. Hayes) (1977)
