General command of Provincias Internas under authority of nava and which will now incorporate the virreynato de la peninsula de California, el nuevo reyno de leon y colonia del Nuevo Santander, puertollano's acknowledgement to make any adjustments in running of his missions if necessary, death of bisuete and illness of two other priests, founding of mission de helguera, informs that puertollano is seeking license to go to Spain to recruit 40 priests due to personnel shortage; sealed letter expressing puertollano's desire to avail himself from earlier commitment of sending 5 religiosos to Durango; puertollano stating that the death of bisute and the illness of two other priests is the reason that he seeks to redirect the 5 religiosos from Durango to tamauplia oriental, comments on the deteriorating condition of the mission Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe due to the death and illnesses mentioned and similar complaints lodged by the missions of san Jose and Coahuila as justification for his desire to redirect religious personnel; virrey informing nava on the developments mentioned above and tells him that he has communicated the same to the bishop of Durango; acknowledgement of Lorenzo of developments that will not permit 5 religiosos that he was supposed to receive from the colegio apostolico de pachuca from aiding him; virrey approving lorenzo' request for license to go to Spain to recruit personnel. Enderica's daily log of distances traveled, places stopped. Complete cost accounting of expenditures for mules, cattle, corn, other supplies with written receipts. Francisco Xavier Goni purchased ship (San Judas Fadeo) in the canaries and sailed for Havanna then Ostiones with load and passengers. After leaving Havana ship sank. Only few crew lived and told what happened. Documents verify discovery of wreckage parts and auction of same. Ff.131 appears to quote laws concerning finding of unclaimed objects. Ship's Matricula, ff. 155-156. Wages paid for unearthing of wreck, ff.111-114. Possible document of boat purchase by Goni, ff.162-163. Steal some of the wreckage from beach and were killed. Request made for money for Goni's widow, Maria Hernandez Goni. Ff.204 contains verification of the Goni's marriage, names their parents. (S. Langmack September 1989)

Series of testimonies explaining details of what kind of abuses were committed by Alcalde Baez, who forced hacendados to pay, each, one soldier for defense of real de Vallecillos. Hacendados complain that Baez took animals and money from them to benefit himself. Testimonies are taken from people who were affected by abusive behavior from Alcalde Baez. Document explain context of events arguing that all was to protect haciendas and dwellers from Indians who used Vallecillos as a port of entry. (M. Marroquin, August 1989)

Urrutia is said to be illiterate and too old for his responsibilities so he should be granted cedula of invalid. Letter reporting casualties in war against Indians. Report on military actions against Lipanes. Cueva petitions for rank of lieutenant Colonel. Status of Invalidos given to soldiers. Indians stole gunpowder from Laredo and Galvan is held responsible. He is jailed but released when proven innocent. Muniz gets refund for sale of cattle. Testimony for santo oficio is expected from Alange. Tax exemption to miners who build missions is mentioned. Puga and Mugier are escorted to the capital. Notice of pardon to those guilty of contraband.
