Summary
Ugalde gives Vidal de Lorca responsibility for use of troops, villagers in maintaining peace in province. Series of Indian attacks begins after attack by Tanambres. Vidal de Lorca gives deaths, injury statistics; states Tanambres have returned to mission at Lleres. He highlights some of murgiers' expedition in Sierra de Tamaulipa, that Pasitas and Zaraquayes have sent Capitancillos to ratify peace. In return for cease to hostilities, Vidal de Lorca grants food supplies to Indians, at expense of Guemes mission. Discusses establishment of piquete Volante to monitor activities of Indians that have returned to missions and settlements, as villagers know which Indians have committed last Series of crimes. Summary
Series of autos in which teniente Sota Riva, defender of teniente Puga, accused of killing five peaceful Indian leaders, makes his case arguing that his client, teniente Puga, only followed order of his Superior, captain muergier. Sota Riva also proved that witnesses against Puga lied and accused them of perjury. Therefore, responsibility for the slaying of Indians should be placed upon captain Murgier (Series of arguments and examples are cited by Sota Riva, to prove the innocence of his client). Sota Riva also brought up situation in which Murgier had put in jail soldiers under his command so he could abuse their wives. Zamora, Cadena and Galvan are accused of perjury. Sota Riva concluded Murgier was a depraved man who took advantage of his position to govern as a tyrant and commit all kinds of crimes. (M. Marroquin, March 1989)

Concerns captain Murgier defending himself from charges that he sent to execute Indians in public. Munoz accuses Murgier of killing Indians who were at peace with Spaniards in cold blood. Series of documents on military actions against Indians. Thanks are given to Murgier for bringing Indians under control. Fray gives appreciation for what has been done to pacify Indians. Notice about Indians who left mission of Croix. Regards sent to Murgier for controlling Indians. Indians left to the Sierra of Tamaulipas to hide away. Suggestion is made that Indian rebels should be hung and their heads cut off as an example to others. Transfer of prisoners to another prison by Puga. Diaz expresses compassion for Indians in Croix. Summary
A Series of letters between Vaamonde and the virrey out an execution when in his area there was no official execution by using a Former Negro slave to perform the execution, orders for Vaamonde to travel to Punto de Lamparos, decree prohibiting Indians from leaving their homes unless they have necessary papers from district judge, parrish priest, or minister of documents, Vaamonde's deteriorating health during trip to Punto de lamparaos and subsequent rehabilitation in saltilo, compliance with an order to determine status of any peace initiatives with Indians of the area, the terms of any peace agreements and manner in which Indians have abided by said agreements, complying with order to make Nava inspector in addition to his current rank as comandante general and brigadier.
