The real tribunal general de Mineria sends to Parral a bombastic document appealing to patriotism, love of country, etc., in mineros so they will contribute 3 granos of every Marco de Plata. The miners, of course, are overjoyed to pay the tax and Vote unanimously for it. (P. Hayes) (1977)
