870 inhabitants Chinipa, Guadalupe de Warihios. Partido in Sierra Madre. Chinipa newly resettled because of previous warihio disturbances. Guadalupe de Warihios, called Tayrachi by Indians, site where frs. Pascual, Martinez Martyred. Inhabitants both pueblos speak warihio, similar to taraura (Tarahumara), with slight differences, principally in the grammar. Many gentile Indians in area in process being reduced. Area quiet now. 4958 inhabitants Rahum, Potam, Belem (3231 in Rahum alone). People Rahum, Potam Yaquis who speak cahita. Abandoned church Rahum. Belem new Pueblo composed of reduced Guaymas (Seri group) on Pima Bajo (Nebome) frontier. 1050 inhabitants among 4 pueblos, all Hore speakers (Opata). Inhabitants Cuquiarachi work in mines, raise good crops maize, cotton. People Corodeguachi newly reduced. 1276 inhabitants divided between Ures, Nacameri. Language, customs both pueblos Pima. Pimas at Ures Ladinos, some of whom speak-Spanish. All cantores know how to read/write. Notes religious devotion, describes terrain, geographical location both settlements. Notes also presence reduced/ missionized Seris at Populo where Rios Sonora, Cucurpe (San Miguel) join. People Teopari Jovas, newly reduced. Notes difficulty traveling from Saguaripa to Teopari because of Rio Yaqui. People San Matheo recently reduced, congregated from various pueblos, speak Hires.
