Domingo de Bordemba seeks to take over the mines and haciendas of Rafael Alonso de Pastrana because of an unpaid debt of 31, 140 pesos 5.5 reales. Inventory of estate of deceased Rosalia de Fuente Fria, wife of Juan Antonio Nava. Includes livestock, household goods, clothing, orchards, mines, etc. Nova, who died before his wife, apparently owned hacienda de San Antonio. Pedro de Jugo has been renting two haciendas for Augustina de Medina y Costilla, and in doing so paying off an outstanding debt. Cortes del Rey, grandson of Medina y Castilla removes de Jugo, sells cattle and Lets the haciendas fall into disrepair. de Jugo maintains this is unjust and against Medina y Castillas wishes. Complaint from residents of the Paraje de San Sebastian about the lack of law enforcement and justice, which has led to a great deal of stealing and murder by various criminal elements. Gobernador Belaunzaran decrees that Indians are not to be distributed in repartimiento without official mandamiento, and are not to be used for the personal business affairs of Colonial officials. All Indians currently working under repartimiento system are to be returned to their pueblos, except for those engaged in el Corte de trigo, or wheat harvest. (T. Sheridan) (!977)

Anna Maria Navarro esposa del Difunto Luis Benito de Campos, is required to pay the sum of 2,762 pesos y Dos reales to Juan de Alcala Pardo for debts incurred by her late Husband. The terms of payment are given. Her hipotera consists of- Una Esclava Mulata y Sus Cuatro hijos, Una Casa de vivienda, 30 rezes de Ganado, 6 Mulas de carga, and 14 Caballos Mansos. (P. Hayes) (1977)
