Summary
Ff. 242 to 256 consist of a response to a Superior Orden of the viceroy requesting fiscal and administrative information on the military expedition of Galvez in 1767-1768. This is addressed to tribunal y real Audiencia de Cuentas de Mexico and provides formal and detailed accounting including salaries, duties and personnel, followed by brief discussion of reforms. F. 260 is representaciones to viceroy for June-July 1774. Ff. 267 is financial report providing offices, positions, salaries for presidio of Terrenate. Ff. 268-270 deal with salary of Lumbreras of dragones de Espana. Ff. 271-279 continue with changes in duties of intendente and reforms of military expedition. Except where noted the subjects are briefly dealt with, usually expanding upon lists of superiores ordenes from Bucareli, confirmed in representaciones of Corbalan. These two types of documents will be noted by folio no. In the precis and are useful as a chronological index to contents. Generally documents are in chronological order, except that responses from the viceroy directly follow the appropriate topic, but are dated several months later. Corbalan's replies to Bucareli often refer back to superiores ordenes by specifically citing order no. And date. Many blank pages; some frames are duplicated.

Summary
Ugarte informs viceroy of vacant positions in Fronteras, San Eleceario, and compania Volante of Nueva Vizcaya. Viceroy appoints Carrasco, Barela, and Vidal. Ugarte also reports of Ysco request for retirement with full salary and title of captain; viceroy grants retirement with half salary and title of lieutenant. Ugarte send viceroy list of people requesting disability pensions; viceroy requests 3 copies of this list so one could be sent to king. Ugarte acknowledges receiving appointments for Juarez, Garcia, and retirement benefits for Garcia. (J. Tapia, July, 1987).

Summary
Ugarte reports to viceroy on possibility of increasing Romeu's salary as new commander of arms in Sonora. He also sends list of military officials salaries. Viceroy does not approve increase in Romeu's salary and states it is more convenient to have a presidio captain as commander of arms. (J. Tapia, July, 1987).
