F. 322 representationes for to travel to Californias on Canoa San Pedro to find new pearl beds; irrigation and wheat harvest of Seris; sale of mules and transportation to California on la Concepcion; resignation of Tunon over questionable fiscal management; cleaning of Pitic acequia; silver production of mines in province; income from salt beds in Culican; collection of currency no longer to be circulated; construction of church in Suaqui; Corbalan to travel to Mexico to discuss his salary and justify military expenses of the Galvez expedition. Ff. 242 to 256 consist of a response to a Superior Orden of the viceroy requesting fiscal and administrative information on the military expedition of Galvez in 1767-1768. This is addressed to tribunal y real Audiencia de Cuentas de Mexico and provides formal and detailed accounting including salaries, duties and personnel, followed by brief discussion of reforms. F. 260 is representaciones to viceroy for June-July 1774. Ff. 267 is financial report providing offices, positions, salaries for presidio of Terrenate. Ff. 268-270 deal with salary of Lumbreras of dragones de Espana. Ff. 271-279 continue with changes in duties of intendente and reforms of military expedition. Ugarte informs viceroy of vacant positions in Fronteras, San Eleceario, and compania Volante of Nueva Vizcaya. Viceroy appoints Carrasco, Barela, and Vidal. Ugarte also reports of Ysco request for retirement with full salary and title of captain; viceroy grants retirement with half salary and title of lieutenant. Ugarte send viceroy list of people requesting disability pensions; viceroy requests 3 copies of this list so one could be sent to king. Ugarte acknowledges receiving appointments for Juarez, Garcia, and retirement benefits for Garcia. (J. Tapia, July, 1987).

Ugarte reports to viceroy on possibility of increasing Romeu's salary as new commander of arms in Sonora. He also sends list of military officials salaries. Viceroy does not approve increase in Romeu's salary and states it is more convenient to have a presidio captain as commander of arms. (J. Tapia, July, 1987).

Ugarte informs Flores of vacant Alferez position in Santa Cruz. He also informs Tonaiz wishes to retire with some salary. Grants 200 annual pesos. Ugarte informs marquez requests retirement and salary of active lieutenant, and received one of non-inservice. Flores informs notifying king to ammend this error. (J. Tapia, July, 1987).
