The Indians of la Ysleta accuse Manuela Carrillo, servant of off over 200 Head of cattle have damaged their cultivations, destroyed the enclosure they constructed to protect the crops, ruined the Patio of the convent; that Carrillo has mistreated them in words and deeds. Carrillo is warned to make amends; that she cannot deprive the Indians of their legitimate rights; that her herd will have to be moved out of the district of Ysleta, to where there is sufficient territory for grazing and maintaining it.
