Summary
Concerns payment supposedly owed Jayme Gurza for work done in military Hospital in Texas as surgeon and apothecary, he claims he is owed for work done on both jobs, although he was only payed for being surgeon; his salary of 720 pesos annually in Monclova not enough, but lack of documentation means he cannot receive money; turns out he was lying about amount of time he worked at Former Hospital anyway. The viceroy begins to track him down in 1800 and finally catches up to him in 1803 in Mexico City. He and his friends are required to swear they will comply with the order; ferreira is to liquidate his house in Arispe and the pharmacy. After several postponements he finally returns to Spain on August 8, 1803. Ff#209 gives a physical description of ferreira.
