This informe gives a day by day description of the depredations and killings committed by the Apaches, and requests firmly that more soldiers be sent to the presidios to guard the missions and the villages under the charge of missionaries. He asks that almenos 80 hombres be sent for their protection, otherwise there is danger that everything will be destroyed. This is an original document sent from the mission de la Concepcion de Acuna, and bears the autograph of fr. Gabriel de Vergara. (microfilm catalog)
