This is a group of informes sewed together written by the missionaries laboring in the missions of Pimeria Baja, and Pimeria Alta. They give an account of the foundation and the status of the missions in that area, and are signed by the respective missionary in each mission, with the location of the mission and the date. They are copies of the originals, and the majority are addressed to fr. Chrisostomo Gil de Bernabe. There are thirteen informes in all, written by the following missionaries- fr. Baltazar Carrillo, fr. J. Bautista Garces, fr. Juan Sarove, fr. Estevan de Salazar, fr. Joseph M. Espinosa, fr. Joseph Antonio Caja, fr. Joseph Soler, fr. Francisco Zuniga, fr. Francisco Roch, fr. Francisco Garces, fr. Juan Diaz, fr. Juan Gospoll, fr. Bartholome Ximeno. Among these is an informe written by fr. Francisco Garces to Don Antonio de bucarelo. (microfilm catalog)

This document gives summarized account gathered from the letters mentioned above of the expedition to Monte rey of the year 1770. In diary form it briefly states the happenings of each day, and concludes with la Altura y Grados de cada Paraje segun la graduacion que Hizo Don Miguel Constanzo. it bears no signature but seems to be the writing of Palou. Four copies of the instructions regarding the establishment of pueblos in the territory of the Yuma nation. The copy of fr. Diego Ximenez has the decree of Galvez giving the administration of the missions in its temporalities to the missionaries of Santa Cruz college. Sebastian Flores, regarding the missions in the Pimerias, asking for supplies and help, and describing the condition of the missionaries. Antonio de los Reyes to the guardian and discreets of the colegio de Santa Cruz de Queretaro describing the missions in the Pimerias and Sonora which had just been placed in charge of the Franciscans, and which formerly were in the hands of the Jesuits.
