Castro notifies viceroy about deterioration of health due to intensive raining. Transfer of soldiers to San Cristobal. Letter about the Queen giving birth. Legal jurisdiction given over Nuevo Santander. Revision of archives and accounting records of outgoing governor is done due to inconsistencies on reported outlays made in war against Indians. Refund given to governor Castro for travel expenses. Corlier receives title of marquez. Maxent receives licence to travel to Valladolid. Series of letters confirming procedures for processing legal documentation are sent from viceroy's and governor's offices (authorizations of licences to travel, taxes, migration, marriages etc.). (M. Summary
Concerns de la Serna's petition to governor of Nuevo Santander of repayment of expenditures caused in the transportation of military prisoners to Mexico. Contains relation of salaries paid to de Leon and other five soldiers. de Leon and the soldiers testify having received one hundred and ninety pesos by de la Serna as payment for the transportation of Murgier and Puga to Mexico. Revillagigedo orders de la Serna to be repaid the two hundred and Ten pesos he had to expend. Murgier and Puga are ordered to pay one hundred and five pesos each on a monthly Basis.
