Summary
Several Tarahumara caciques, most notably Corosio of Caurichi, are spreading dissention among their people. It centers around the padres, who they wish to evict. An army of 70 armed Tarahumaras has been roaming around the area of Guadalupe looking for padres to kill (including padre Prado). The Pueblo of Santa Inez has taken up arms to defend their padre and their church. (R. Perez) (1977)
