This hacienda account book contains- the daily earnings of the hacienda; the amount and value of wheat sold; supplies purchased; amount and value of meat supplied to the military at Balsequillo; advances (in money and goods) and debts of the laborers; and a list of 41 Indian laborers brought from Parral and Atotonilco*, perteneciente Al manejo del apoderado Don Manuel Francisco Porrero y Concha. Contains all financial transactions of the hacienda de Balsequillo for the year 1794.

Lists the names and wages of employees, and their rations in the form of grain and meat. Also gives quantity and price of goods sold in Balsequillo. (R. In response to the gobernador's decree, Pedro Coronado compiles a list of the Ranchos in his Jurisdiccion giving the name of the Rancho o hacienda, the dueno or mayordomo, and in some Cases the number of people at the Rancho or hacienda. (P. Hayes) (!977)

Pedro de Jugo has been renting two haciendas for Augustina de Medina y Costilla, and in doing so paying off an outstanding debt. Cortes del Rey, grandson of Medina y Castilla removes de Jugo, sells cattle and Lets the haciendas fall into disrepair. de Jugo maintains this is unjust and against Medina y Castillas wishes.
