Most important to California missions, with buying price in San Blas, selling price in San Diego. Ff. 164-193 inventory and specifications of Paquebot el Principe (San Antonio), including; ship dimensions and volume capacity, masts, hull, sails, pantry, cables and rigging, anchors, armor, auxiliary boats. Five letters to padre Salvador de Gandara. 1) from Juan Armestro, arrojo Sarco, September 25, 1766, 1 page, informs arrival at Hazienda and poor health. 2) from padre Joseph Domingo, Querataro, June (?) 29, 1776, 1 page, informs unhappiness at present position and requests transfer. 3) from Pedro Blanco y Arenas (?), Querataro, June 6, 1766, 2 pages, reports activities of mission includes finances, agricultural yields (alfalfa) and requests for chocolat. 4) from Manuel de Vargas, Querataro, September 9, 1766, 2 pages, claims that he has been wrongly accused of owing money to Manuel Montoya. 5) from Manuel de Vargas, Querataro, October 7, 1766, 1 page, acknowledges receipt of correspondence.
