Concerns the annual funding of account gastos de paz established for Coahuila and administered by Ugalde, surplus may be used to pay off scribes and assistants, mentions periodic reporting requirements (letter interrupted by other documents resumes on ff. 0485), traces transmittal of documents related to this account over the years 1788, 1789 in which Indian groups for which it was intended find themselves at war with Spanish, resulting surplus is to be sent to treasury or the Bahia presidio, communication of this information to Loyola; letter in which Ugalde has contended that the annual amount designated for the aforementioned account was not distributed by San Luis Potosi for the year 1788, Yermo who was to distribute funds had previous commitment to fund presidio and resources were used in this manner, Ugalde allowed to request money from Yermo but because each request must be accompanied by explanation and justification, control which Ugalde had expected is missing, one reason for this administrative apparatus is to preclude the duplication of gratificationes by other provinces to the same Indian groups, mentions other costs such as military supplies for horses, surgeons salary, and prisoners, further explanation of methods of making transactions so as to enhance coordination of the intendente of Potosi with Ugalde. Mentions the sad state of affairs in Amangual's company, situation necessitates his and Loyola's appearance in Santa Rosa to justify costs incurred; mentions costs of expedition of Vial, auditing and closing of account by Cavofranco; concerns the closing of an entrance to Texas to the English and the formation of a new customs duty; an index of quadernos 1-7; letter that concerns the inability of Munoz to fulfill orders of conde de Revilla Gigedo because of climate; letters that trace the transmittal of quaderno documentation between real tribunal de Cuentas and virrey. Indice concerns the auditing and liquidation of accounts in Texas in 1791 and 1792 by relevant personnel in the real tribunal de Cuentas; letters relating to the transmittal of these military communications; letter about Pacheco outlining the measures used to keep Indian groups pacified, reiterates that much of te peace rests on the continuation of the gratifications, mention of relocating the Lipanes in Coaguila. Concerns documentation relating to the case of Montes in which he is Charged with killing and robbing his boss, will not be granted military privileges in this case; ff. 0378-0379 concerns indictments against Dovalina and Diaz de Bustamante for ?, and the quebra of the tercera compania volante de Nuevo Santander, most of the documentation her deals with reformulation of case against them to concord with certain procedural requirements; ff. 0381-0382 concerns documentation relating to Calleja's file on need for improvements to be made to roads, funding to come from propios de los pueblos, new opening proposed for the Sierra Madre to be paid for with sums from other sources than the one mentioned above; ff. 0382 concerns documentation of the Indian attacks on the ranch Boca and the culpability for this is attributed to Trevino. Ff. 352-354 discusses the shipment of arms to Leon and the reimbursement sought by a governor, arms are to arm the militia, describes the role that the intendent of San Luis Potosi has in militia in Nuevo Reyno de Leon subsequent to military inspection of Calleja, mentions submitting the request for armaments to the real tribunal and their correspondence back; folios 358-362 weapons sent to the governor of Nuevo Reyno de Leon in 1774; letter asking if real hacienda has been reimbursed for the costs of the armaments mentioned above. First three folios of this Series are not documents but rather title pages; concerns the teniente Letrado Interino asking instructions on the method to exercise his duties during intendent's absence; concerns the reestablishment of the presidio of Durango; speaks of a letter from Medina highlighting the defects of ? According to the tesoreria de Chihuahua; speaks of the salary raise for the treasurer of the real caxa for Chihuagua and the translations of some junior officers which would should be changed; tribunal de Cuentas found problems with the libranzas from Chihuagua with an index of correspondence concerning this matter. Documents containing brief notes from the hacienda fiscales most of the notes are instructions for other fiscales of the treasury. Very little information. (D. Bautista, August 1990)

Concerns Arce's writing out three drafts with amounts and destinatons; letters from Palacio and Gutierrez de Lanzas requesting that money approved be dispersed; letter that explains how Morales paid 7.800 pesos to Garcia who is treasurer of real Caxas of Arispe for war against Indians; Yrigoyen hands over money to Arce and the real Caxa for expenses in Nueva Vizcaya; Martinez de Texada hans real Caxa 1.900 pesos for expenses in Vizcaya; letter informing that Mondoza, Bravo and Morales have deposited 6.916 pesos into the caxas matrices for use in Sonora; donations by frays in Arispe; other donations by Ribero, Larranaga; a relacion of certifications of donations from various persons for use in Sonora, lists the names and donations found in above letters in a more formatted form; letter from junta Superior de real hacienda concerning verification of the certifications mentioned above; letters from the junta Superior approving the drafts and authorizing payment of libranzas mentioned earlier by the Pagaduria of Arispe; Branciforte approving the procedures executed by junta Superior.
