Trevino's doctor says Trevino does not suffer any illness but old age and weakness make him unfit for service. F. 270 mentions Garcia's suffering from Sarampion - smallpox- and his symptoms. F. 271 letter from Garcia's doctor describing symptoms of smallpox. Garcia's request to retire accepted. F. 272 concerns governing of Alta and Baja California. Death of previous governor.
