The governor seeks to implement the order of the viceroy concerning the election of Alcaldes. He requires the two incumbent Alcaldes ordinarios, Rivas and Hurtado, to be prepared to give up their posts on the last day of December, 1713; and seeks to arrange for the election of officers so that there will be no lack of Alcaldes ordinarios. Contains a Series of election results for the Ayuntamiento del Parral from 1807-1814. The elections of 1813, 1814 are described in great detail, and the electoral procedures are explained. All citizens, indios puros, Espanoles and mestizos of the real (Parral and surrounding haciendas) are entitled to Vote for 17 electors.
