Pedro de Sapion has killed one hundred cattle and salted their beef and requests and receives permission for a sale of salted beef in the public Plaza - which occurs over January 10 - February 12, 1653. In a few added documents it appears that in may, one Don Ansonio de Alvarado claims the beef killed one of his Mulatto slaves - but the charge is not carried far and is dropped.
