Soto registers (tomar Razon) as administrador of tobacco, gambling (Naypes), and gunpowder of Guarisamey. F. 287-288 is list of rules for process of registration and assuming of office. Other documents concern tomar razon of Bustamente as treasury official of real hacienda of Arispe.

Document concerns payment of salary to Castro and his embarkment from Veracruz to puerto Rico where he will assume governorship. Castro's ill health forces him to go to Mexico and delay trip. Castro's salary given. Castro requests right to freely transport luggage and other items from Mexico to puerto Rico. F. 28 gives regulations concerning quantity of money each class of military personnel is allowed to transfer from one country to another. Rest of Series concerns important rules and regulations governing Colonial trade. F. 30 mentions real Orden of 1779 establishing taxes and other rules for exporting gold and silver from America to Spain. F. 33 describes shipment of cacao from Guayaquil to Spain and import Fee levied on said shipment. 1774 decree of commerce of the quatro reynos stated relating to gold and silver from Peru and Guatemala. Taxes on gold and silver reiterated , as well as, need for laws relating to import of soldiers, wine, sugar, and fruit. Final folios resolve Castro's case and determines amount of goods he can import to puerto Rico, duty-free. (P. Lenz, March1990)

Inventory of objects at time of Jesuit expulsion of properties of the hacienda de Ibarra. Major sections clearly indicated and divided into numbered fardos. Careful description of all items give quantities, varieties, prices and often place of manufacture or procurement. Goods include funds on hand from salaries, furniture, and merchandise in warehouse of hacienda. Principle especially food, Chocolate, cacao, cloth, clothing and sewing supplies, wine, swords and weapons, equestrian tack, blankets, and religious items. Documents relate to charging diesmos by padre doctrinero of Presas del Rey, viceroy requests investigation as town charter exempt diesmos when town founded. Citizens and officials relate historical, ethnographical details of towns. Visitador Palacios imposes diesmos, copy of document issued by Santianer setting and directing payment of diesmos by all in Santander province under penalty of jail and excommunication if not obeyed. List with stated amounts to be paid by each citizen. Also, a list of Arancel de Curato issued by bishop. Capitan Blanco documents differences of diesmos in province complaining of excesses by some priests, Blanco called to northern frontier to stop Indian incursions and investigation comes to a halt. Zeleta offers to supply Memorias of 1789 to Loreto in his Paquebot which sustained damages in storm; later Zeleta arrives in San Blas with shipment of cacao; arrival is acknowledged by comisario and comandante de Marina of San Blas; reference made to free commerce with Peru.
