          Summary
              Preparing to leave Chihuahua to survey proposed shifts in presidial locations, O'Conor leaves capitan Munoz in charge of guarding frontier and instructs Peru to send squadron of 20 men under command of his teniente- with provisions for 3 months- to join Munoz in such action. In second letter, same date, Peru instructed to send all monthly reports in O'Conor's absence to Juan de San Vicente, Ayudante mayor, in Chihuahua. (T. Sheridan) (1977)
