Nicolas is captured and jailed for leading a band of raiding Conchos indios, stealing water and killing cows and for stealing 72 pesos from Juan de Sena Marron. Capt. Juan Bautista Garcia pays Juan and Nicolas is named to work for Juan Bautista at 4 pesos a month till debt is paid. (R. Davis) (1977)

Francisco conde Cercedo brings suit against the 3 mentioned men for Bernardo de los Santo's illegal sale of Indians to Martin, and Gaspar. In the process a number of Francisco's cows are killed and he in turn issues autos against a number of people. The governor, Don Luis, cuts off Martin's salary, and upholds Francisco's actions with one exception, in the case of Juan de Espinola. (R. Davis) (1977)
