Summary
According to capitan Bartolome Sarmiento, Geronimo and other Indians visited the hacienda of general Diego Alarcon Fajardo and killed some of his cattle. Final judgment is passed by Don Juan de Aguileta Alcalde mayor of Parral - it seems Geronimo is part of the encomienda of Francisco Cano and he must be responsible for paying for cows. (R. Pablo killed Marcos Perez at a mine. Is jailed and confesses to padre* his crime - also includes information that Sebastian aided him. Trial held. They are sentenced to 10 years at prison farm. On 20 of June they are sold at public auction to Diego Mularo for 130 pesos, who is buying for capitan Sebastian Gonzalez de Valdez. (R. Davis) (1975)

Nicolas de Aguilar apparently shot Hernandez de Villa Gomez to death on 16 of February before a number of witnesses. The incident is reported by capitan Alonso then referred to capitan Bartolome and is decided in Parral by governor Enrique Davila y Pacheco residing there. Summary
A ^junta general^ has been organized by a new governor Enrique Davila y Pacheco to look into the reasons for and course of the Indian wars under old governor Guajardo Fajardo. A long list of men are brought before the council to speak of the killing and robbery committed by the rebellious Tarahumares, Salineros, Toboscos and Cabezas. Some testimony does suggest that the Indians were being treated cruely and this led to their rebellion. Finally Pacheco sends Philip Catalan and mrs. Catalan off to Mexico City to deliver the testimony to the viceroy.
