J Am Med Assoc, Sep 1918; 71: 1074: To cooperate with the state health authorities in Arizona, Dr. Frederick T. Fahlen, St. Louis, has been appointed acting assistant surgeon of the United States Public Health Service for Arizona. Dr. Orville H. Brown, Phoenix, new state superintendent of public health who succeeded Dr. William O. Sweek, will cooperate with the United States Public Health Service representative in the expenditure of the appropriation for the control of venereal disease
J Am Med Assoc, Sep 1923; 81: 836: The new board of medical examiners went into office, July 1. The personnel of the board is as follows : president, Dr. Harry T. Southworth, Prescott; vice president, Dr. William O. Sweek, Phoenix, and secretary, Dr. A. Garfield Schnabel, Tucson.
J Am Med Assoc, Mar 1929; 92: 813: Arizona. [Governor Phillips] also announced the appointment of Drs. Harlan P. Mills, Phoenix, and O. S. Brown, Winslow, as members of the state medical board, succeeding Drs. William O. Sweek, Phoenix, and William F. Chenoweth, Nogales, respectively, whose terms have expired.
