He was born in Pennsylvania in 1871 and attended the public schools. Later he pursued a course in Pharmacy in Philadelphia upon the completion of which he came to Williams Arizona in 1898. He was employed for a time in a drug store in that city but ambitious to engage in business on his own account he joined his brother Dr. A.G. Rounseville in the establishment of the Williams Drug Company. George Rounseville married August 1911 Miss Ethel Eschmire of Indianapolis Indiana.
