Rosenberry, Jerome: One-third of the patients applying for treatment of deformity at institutions are suffering from this disease. It is epidemic during the summer, it is contagious, and there is early acute congestion of cord. Structures supplied by the anterior spinal artery are inflamed. In muscles which respond to faradism there is a possibility of recovery. Massage and electricity give the greatest relief. ...
