Born in Virginia City, Nevada, in 1879. Graduated from Johns Hopkins Medical College in 1906, standing third in a class of more than one hundred. Went to Fort Bayard, New Mexico, where he did research work in tuberculosis at the Government Hospital. Made a particular study of diseases of the nose, throat and lungs. After a year's work in the office of Dr. Wylie, of Phoenix, he opened his own office at No. 118 North First Avenue, that city, where he has since practiced (circa 1913).

Scientific medical art work will not be accepted. The exhibition is not limited to first showings. Helen Taussig and Alfred Blalock, Baltimore, a National Johns Hopkins Medical Association was organized with Dr. George H. Gardner, Chicago, president, and Dr. Francis H. Redewill, San Francisco, secretary-treasurer. This new organization will take active part in social meetings of the medical alumni as well as tie in with the university's activity of developing substantial funds for new buildings.
