Per the 10/30/2016 Arizona Daily Star obituary of Dr. Omer's daughter, Jane Etta (Omer) Lease, the family moved to Ajo in 1927 where Dr. Omer was the surgeon at the mining hospital until the copper prices fell. The family moved to Tucson in 1929 and bought the home at 2648 E. 7th St.
