Munson, Ernest

Born in Donovan, Illinois, in 1875.Graduated from the School of Optometry in Northern Illinois College. This was supplemented by a course in the College of Ophthalmology and Otology in Chicago. Circa 1913, President of the Board of Optometric Examiners of Arizona, is one of the best known optometrists of the State. He has been a member of the Board of Examiners during three administrations, having been appointed by Governor Kibbey, Governor Sloan, and for the present term by Governor Hunt, and by the Board chosen as its President. Has devoted much time to the development of the olive industry of the State, and he, with his brothers, John and Logan, form the firm of Munson Brothers, who do an extensive business in the pickling and packing of olives and the manufacturing of olive oil.
