J Am Med Assoc, Feb 1957; 163: 473: Morrison, Lewis Francis, San Francisco; born in San Francisco April 7, 1899; University of California School of Medicine, San Francisco, 1926; clinical professor of otorhinolaryngology and chairman of the department at his alma mater; specialist certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology; president-elect of the American Laryngological, Rhinological and Otological Society; past-president of the Pacific Coast Otological and Ophthalmological Society; member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, American Laryngological Association, American Otological Society, and the American Broncho-Esophagological Association; fellow of the American College of Surgeons; consultant at the Veterans Administration Hospital and the Letterman Army Hospital; on the courtesy staff of the Mount Zion Hospital; on the staffs of the University of California, San Francisco, Franklin, and Children's hospitals and the Laguna Honda Home; died in St. Luke's Hospital Nov. 10, aged 57, of acute myocardial infarction and coronary occlusion.
