Born in New York Jul 22, 1854. At the Aug 30, 1881 Battle of Cibicue. In 1882 he became post surgeon at Fort Apache. He was at Fort Lowell casually on Oct 24, 1882 on special duty in charge of recruits from Jefferson Barracks, Missouri for the Sixth Cavalry. He also served at Whipple Barracks, Arizona in 1883.
