"In 1947, Andrew Martin helped establish the College of Pharmacy at the University of Arizona, following a career in the field for more than 40 years. ... Andrew was president [of the Martin Drug Co.] for many years, and sold the company in 1954 to Ryan-Evans of Phoenix. Andrew spent the year of Arizona's becoming a State in 1912, in Washington, D.C., as secretary to Senator Carl Hayden and then served in the Arizona Senate for one therm in 1914-1916. ..."
