Manning, George Felix, Sr.

Born in Huntsville, Alabama, October 27, 1837. Graduated from the Medical Department of the University of Alabama in 1869. Practiced for a time in Texas and served as member of the Board of Medical Examiners. He came to Arizona shortly afterwards. Specialty: gynecology and treatment of children's diseases. Served on the last Territorial Board of Medical Examiners of Arizona. Sons: George Felix Manning, Jr., MD and Thomas Peyton Manning, MD. Source: Who's Who in Arizona. Volume I. 1913 (p. 184-185).
