Born in Tennessee, July 6, 1870. Graduated from the Medical Department of Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, in 1898. In the same year he came to Arizona, locating at McCabe, Yavapai County, where he practiced for six years. In 1904 he took a post-graduate course in medicine in the Polyclinic [possibly spelled Polyclynic?] Hospital of New York, after which he moved to Prescott, Arizona. .
