Mentioned in the 1950-10-10 Minutes of the Pima County Medical Society, 1904-1954: “Dr. Bloom also introduced Dr. Arthur Hoffman, associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Southern California, who spoke on ‘Erythematosus [ Erythema ] Nodosum’" and “The President announced that Dr. Hoffman would speak on Coccidioidomycosis at Veterans Hospital on Wednesday, October 11th, and that the Basic Science Seminars will start at Tucson Medical Center on October 23rd.”

J Am Med Assoc, Apr 1944; 124: 1070: ARIZONA. The Arizona State Medical Association will hold its annual meeting at the Hotel Westward Ho in Phoenix, April 14-15, under the presidency of Dr. Otto E. Utsinger, Ray. Members of the faculty of the University of Southern California School of Medicine, Los Angeles, will present the program. On Friday evening a session will be devoted to a discussion of Coccidioides by Drs. Edward M. Butt and Arthur M. Hoffman. Saturday the program will be conducted by Drs. Frederick J. Moore, Philip I. Cunnane and Gurth Carpenter.
