Henderson, Eva Stevens

Born Jan 16, 1871 in Rockton, Illinois, died in Feb 1965, buried in Patagonia. Taught grammar in the 1890s in Crittenden. Graduated in June, 1902 from the American School of Osteopathy in Kirksville, Missouri. Married Alexander Southerland Henderson (“Judge Henderson”) on Dec 31, 1907. Several excerpts: Several excerpts: Dr. Stevens graduated in June 1902, from the American School of Osteopathy in Kirksville, Missouri under the direction of A.T. Still, the founder of Osteopathy. She was a practicing Osteopath in Arizona before Osteopaths were licensed in Arizona. She was one of nineteen who were first granted certificates to practice Osteopathy and Surgery in the State of Arizona on July 10, 1942. Before this she was licensed by the Arizona Board of Medical Examiners with license number 945 in 1924.
