Mentioned in the 1950-03-10-02 Minutes of the Pima County Medical Society, 1904-1954: “A letter from Dr. Arnold Lieberman requesting clarification of the Society's interpretation of the narcotic laws. Dr. Hayden moved that Mr. Hayes of the Narcotic Bureau, who has been to see Dr. Lieberman regarding this matter, be asked to see the Secretary of the Society. Motion was seconded by Dr. Hastings, but withdrawn after discussion by Dr. Hayden. Dr. Harry Thompson felt this should be talked over first before calling in the Narcotic Bureau, acknowledging a problem in this connection, but questioning whether we should instigate official investigation...”
