November 6, 2011 Arizona Daily Star obituary:Margaret Turner Guthkelch. GUTHKELCH, Margaret Turner, beloved wife of Norman and adopted mother of Judy Street J.P. and of John, Chris and Mike, died at her home in Tucson on November 1, 2011 after a long illness which robbed her of her memory, but not of her religious faith or of her happy and generous nature. Margaret was a dedicated supporter and member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church. In her youth she had been a keen golfer and was proud of having once shot 78 on a par-72 championship course in northern England. She taught Home Economics at a large British high school, and had been offered promotion to the post of Inspector of Education, but chose instead to marry Norman and care for his orphaned children, which she did with great devotion. In later life she became an enthusiastic birder, with a life-list in excess of 2000. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 3738 Old Sabino Canyon Road. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.
