Wittels, asking for an early meeting with the Board of Censors in reference to communications he has had from representatives of the Charles Ferguson family was read by the Secretary. Dr. Wittels also requested a fee schedule which the Pima County Medical Society feels more nearly fits the average fees charged by the average doctor in Tucson. Dr. Harry Thompson moved that this be referred to the Board of Censors for a reply, and stated that he thought Dr. Wittels had been overcharging and that is the job of the Board of Censors to say why; that the Medical Society thinks $25.00 for a house call is too much.”
