J Am Med Assoc, Feb 1899; XXXII: 383: Arizona Medical Association. At the eighth annual meeting, just held, seven counties of the Territory were represented. The next meeting of the association is to be held at Prescott, and the following officers were chosen for the ensuing year : President, Winfred Wylie ; first vice president, T. B. Davis ; second vice-presidents, S. B. Claypool and N. H. Natas ; secretary, E. Plath of Phoenix ; treasurer, W. B. Purcell.
J Am Med Assoc, Jul 1904; XLIII: 64: Yavapai County Medical Society. -- This society was organized on the standard plan at Prescott, June 18, with 14 charter members. The following officers were elected: Dr. Thomas B. Davis, president; Dr. Will S. Smith, vice-president, and Dr. Clarence E. Yount, secretary-treasurer, all of Prescott; delegates to the Arizona Medical Association, Drs. J. W. Coleman, Jerome, and John S. Barrett, Prescott; and censors, Drs. Henry D. Thomason, U. S. Army, Whipple Barracks, James N. McCandless, Prescott, and John Dennett, Jr., Congress.
J Am Med Assoc, Mar 1911; LVI: 758: Thomas Berton [sic] Davis, M.D. University of Louisville, Ky., 1869; a member and formerly president of the Arizona Medical Association; organizer and first president of the Yavapai County Medical Society ; a pioneer physician of Arizona ; formerly medical cadet and acting assistant surgeon, U. S. Army, with Civil War service; died at his home in Prescott, February 17, from intestinal obstruction, aged 66. At a special meeting of the Yavapai County Medical Society, resolutions were unanimously adopted setting forth the high personal and professional attainments of Dr. Davis, and expressing regrets at his death. These resolutions were endorsed by the druggists of the city.
