From Coffman’s wife’s 1/24/2012 Arizona Daily Star obituary: Wanneitta M. Coffman Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Wanneitta M. Coffman of Tucson, AZ, age 91, passed away Wednesday January 18, 2012 following a lingering illness. Wanneitta was born March 14, 1920 on a farm near Richland, Iowa to James William and Beulah Bond Fitch. She grew up in the Richland community, and graduated from Richland High School with her husband, Harold S. Coffman. They married on October 16, 1938 and stayed married for 73 wonderful years. They moved to Tucson in October, 1943 where she was a telephone operator. In 1948, she graduated from the Chenault School of Cosmetology. Later she became the head cashier for a local grocery market. In the summer of 1957, she followed her husband to San Francisco where he was attending dental school. She used her cosmetology knowledge to put him through school...
