Mentioned in the 1953-03-05-11 Minutes of the Pima County Medical Society, 1904-1954: “Dr. Bean stated that Dr. McPheeters is with the County Hospital this year as a parolee from California, and has been with them almost a year; that his original inditement [ indictment ] was for an abortion charge; that through Dr. Farness and Matt Baird in Washington they had been asked if they could make a place for him in Arizona.”
