Arrived in Arizona in 1898. Private practice in Tombstone 1900-1910 and in Miami, Arizona 1910-1932. In 1912 became chief surgeon for the Miami Copper Company in Globe. ArMA president: 1912. Dates: 1869-1964.

Born in Blossburg, Pennsylvania (about 1868); graduated from the medical department of the University of Pennsylvania [October 1892]; his father was an eminent physician of Wellsborough, Pennsylvania; entered the service of the U.S. Army in the capacity of surgeon in 1898; ordered to Fort Grant, Arizona in December, 1898, remaining there until 1901; resigned his position with the army to come to Tombstone; physician at Cochise county hospital as well as in private practice; identified with the mining industry, being interested in a group of valuable gold claims in the Chiracahua mountains. Godfrey, Jr., Lowell, and censor, Dr. George A. Bridge, Bisbee.

McCormack, Bowling Green, Ky., was present, and addressed the meeting.
